Who Knew?
“What the hell…” Roxie said,” are you talking about?”
“Well,” Ashley replied, “think about it. What’s going to happen to us if we run out of chocolate?”
Roxie just stared at her with a bewildered look. “The only way THAT will happen is if YOU get one of your hunger pains and you need medicine!”
“How the hell did I convince you to come with you?” Ashley said. “I mean, I have a lot of work that I need to do. Murders don’t solve themselves you know?”
“Look,” Roxie responded,” I brought you along because, you as well as I, know that you need a break and a vacation. Who knows you might find one of those legendary men who will make you taste that dark chocolate without have to eat it or get the calories. In fact you’d be burning the calories as you taste the chocolate.”
Ashley could totally tell there was an innuendo in there, she knew because no matter the subject her friend could always turn it into something sexual, yet as she was thinking this she was envisioning one of those tall thin, yet trim man with a light dusting of hair on his chest and brown sundrenched eyes that could melt steel.
“ God! Don’t I wish such a man existed!” she turned her head to look to the train window.
Roxie just watched as her best friend of eight years relax against the frosted window, outside the view was passing by slowly. One could see the tall trees and just beyond that a small valley with a stream running straight through it. Because most people knew she absolutely love sparkling streams she grabbed her camera and started snapping shots of the valley, but better yet she got pictures of her picture conscious friend sleeping with the exact view right behind her.
